Welcome to my website
I'm a backend engineer with a strong passion for innovation, and I bring a lot of experience in cloud computing and backend development to the table. Over the years, I've worked on several machine learning projects. While they might not be groundbreaking to everyone, they've been incredibly valuable in helping me develop and improve my skills in this exciting field. Outside of coding, I enjoy challenging myself with puzzles and tapping into my creativity through sketching. To unwind, you’ll often find me on the basketball court, having fun and getting some friendly competition in. Writing blogs has also become a hobby of mine, where I can share what I've learned and experienced along the way. With every project I take on, I aim to innovate, learn, and grow.

Projects
The AWS Lambda web crawler project with state machine, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB and AWS SAM is a serverless, scalable and cost-effective solution for extracting phone numbers and email addresses from any website. It utilizes a state machine to manage the workflow, DynamoDB to store the data, and AWS SAM for infrastructure-as-code implementation.
This project uses OpenCV, a popular computer vision library, to automate chess game play on a 2D screen. The software uses computer vision algorithms to detect the chessboard and individual pieces on the screen, and then makes moves based on a UCI chess engine i.e. Stockfish.
